The Five Together Foundation is grounded in the core values of justice, compassion, and equity. Through its granting, the Foundation works to address the human impacts of inequitable systems and advance progress towards equitable, sustainable, and just societies.
The Foundation invests in organizations that create deep, long-term impact in the areas of justice, support for families in need, building engaged and thriving communities, and youth leadership and childhood development. The Foundation values building strong and trust-based relationships, strengthening organizational capacity, and fostering collaboration to enable a healthy non-profit sector where partners and community stakeholders lead and have the resources to learn, innovate, and create lasting change.

Where We Work
We partner with organizations across the United States, with a strong presence in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, New York, Maine, Florida, and California, and have international partnerships in Costa Rica and Rwanda.

The Five Together Foundation takes a proactive, relational approach to grantmaking. We have an invitation-only grant application process and do not accept unsolicited proposals.
Our Story
History
The Five Together Foundation was established in 2005, inspired by generous parents who believed in their children’s capacity to engage together with intentionality and help make the world a better place. As the Foundation’s journey continued through the years, the siblings were united by their common values of compassion, justice and equal opportunity.
They began investing in organizations and places in which they had roots and experience - identifying and satisfying basic human needs such as safe and affordable housing, food security, and supporting organizations that strengthen civic engagement and participation.
Where We Are Today
Over the years, the siblings found their philanthropic footing supporting vulnerable populations and frontline issues in America and globally. Their different careers and passions transformed eventually into the areas of focus for the foundation today: building engaged and thriving communities, justice, services to families in need, and childhood development and youth leadership.
